TRANSCRIPT

00:00 it’s adam aka marf and i apologize in
00:03 advance if there’s any wind noise
00:05 i don’t have any kind of mic again
00:08 if you guys don’t know i am down on the
00:11 coast
00:12 doing some stuff for my documentary it’s
00:15 been a long time waiting
00:16 obviously if when we’re doing our show
00:19 five nights a week it’s really really
00:20 hard to get it done
00:22 the reason i titled this is some cities
00:25 won’t make it is it’s the absolute truth
00:28 it is really really sad to see how uh
00:31 unprepared
00:32 places like ocean shores westport uh
00:35 moclips and all of these other places
00:37 are
00:38 for essentially the largest disaster the
00:41 united states will ever see
00:43 next to of course what is going on right
00:45 now
00:46 uh of course a lot of people are gonna
00:48 forget about these kind of things
00:50 and you know get caught up in their
00:52 daily lives
00:54 here uh it is a lot different than say
00:57 seattle or any of the other surrounding
00:59 cities around there
01:02 you don’t see anybody doing what
01:04 everybody else is doing everywhere else
01:05 in fact
01:06 you see a lot of signs basically
01:08 protesting what is going on
01:10 so it is very odd it’s like
01:13 i don’t know i just really like the
01:15 people here and it’s
01:17 it’s almost sad like all of these people
01:19 know each other they all have one
01:21 grocery store they all have
01:23 you know one little store that they go
01:24 to they all have you know they still
01:26 have video stores here for
01:28 for gosh sakes like and
01:31 they have no escape they have not made a
01:33 single
01:34 uh you know evacuation tower over on
01:37 this side of things
01:38 uh you know the few evacuation towers
01:40 that they do have which i’m gonna go
01:42 visit
01:43 are you know at a high school there’s
01:45 one i believe the the only two
01:47 there might even only be one is that a
01:50 high school
01:50 and it’s like why don’t these people
01:52 have anywhere to go
01:54 if you look this is just flat land they
01:56 say that
01:57 the highest point here which is like
01:59 this cell phone tower
02:00 is going to be underwater how do
02:04 how are they not preparing for this like
02:06 how how are they not ready for this
02:09 i already know that this is not only
02:11 overdue
02:13 but they’re expecting it they’re
02:14 drilling for it they are
02:16 literally ready for the big one to knock
02:19 out the entire west coast
02:22 and again if you guys haven’t seen the
02:23 interview with chris goldfinger the
02:25 one of the lead seismologists behind
02:27 this uh he has his own ted talk
02:29 on this uh again talking about cascadia
02:32 subduction zone
02:34 he was the the man behind the the really
02:36 really big one
02:37 uh the new yorker article that went
02:39 viral and you know
02:40 taught everybody about what the cascadia
02:42 subduction zone was
02:44 this is an earthquake that’s uh just
02:46 like the earthquake that hit japan with
02:48 the tsunami only it’s going to have
02:51 way more population right next to it
02:54 we’re talking about
02:55 you know somebody standing in seattle
02:57 and somebody standing in portland oregon
02:58 will feel the same
03:00 9.0 5-minute earthquake
03:03 so somebody said right before i left i
03:05 said that i would be doing this and they
03:06 said
03:07 you know do you really want to give up
03:08 your spot in the algorithm for
03:10 you know some video this is one of the
03:13 most important things out there and i
03:15 don’t understand why
03:16 why more people so imagine like how much
03:19 grief and how much pain we felt after
03:22 2001
03:23 with 5 000 people to put that in
03:26 perspective there’s 5 000 people in this
03:28 city that’s just the people who live
03:30 here
03:31 any given real popular summer i don’t
03:34 know about how
03:34 cv and how that’s treated it there are
03:36 upwards of 500 000 people in this
03:40 town that literally has one lane out
03:43 and one lane in
03:46 just to repeat it is a long winding uh
03:49 probably a 30 40 minute drive
03:51 out one lane and in one lane so even if
03:54 two of those lanes
03:55 both go out because obviously nobody’s
03:58 going to be coming in
03:59 after this earthquake that’s two lanes
04:02 out
04:04 if there’s a major disaster even with
04:06 six lane or eight lanes highways we’ve
04:08 seen
04:09 it just stops so these people have
04:12 virtually no escape they have no way to
04:14 survive
04:15 and they’re all going to die and that is
04:18 literally the truth of it
04:20 unless they do something about it and if
04:23 to do something about it it’s really i
04:26 think with all this money that’s getting
04:28 ejected everywhere it’s absolutely
04:30 insane to me that they don’t have
04:31 evacuation towers
04:33 every flipping block this isn’t a large
04:36 area but they could put
04:37 look at all this open space that could
04:40 be evacuation tower
04:45 there’s space everywhere you look
04:48 what is an evacuation tower it’s it’s
04:50 basically a
04:51 concrete and rebar structure that has
04:55 stairs that go up to the very top it’s
04:57 it’s as high as they think on the higher
04:59 end
05:00 of what the tsunami will be this isn’t
05:03 you know this isn’t seattle seattle’s
05:04 going to be hit by
05:05 tsunami 2 but it will be more inland and
05:07 it’s not it’s going to be
05:08 more the earthquake it’s going to hit
05:10 seattle here
05:13 it’s going to be tsunami this is going
05:14 to be underwater there’s going to be
05:16 fish
05:16 and whales flowing through here in fact
05:20 this goes back
05:21 to the year 1700 when the last one
05:23 happened
05:25 native americans the rr hockey team here
05:28 was called the thunderbirds that’s
05:30 actually based on a legend
05:31 that is based on cascadia subduction
05:33 zone on the last earthquake that
05:34 happened
05:36 that earthquake sent whales 20 miles in
05:39 that’s why the native american people
05:41 you know saw these uh they basically i i
05:43 think
05:43 the story is that the the bird carried
05:45 the whale in or something like that
05:49 but you know just to get back to the
05:51 point this is all going to be underwater
05:53 and they know this
05:55 100 they know this not only this
05:59 but westport across the way all of it
06:01 will be underwater
06:03 [Music]
06:04 and it just doesn’t compute it happens
06:06 on every on
06:07 average every uh 240 years
06:12 it’s now been 321
06:16 years so we are now over 70 years of
06:19 overdue
06:21 so you can do the math it’s pretty
06:22 simple
06:25 so anyways i actually i i will
06:28 try to go live if i can there’s very
06:30 little reception
06:31 but i have found where you can see in
06:34 the actual
06:35 mud and in the dirt one of the places
06:37 where they discovered
06:39 uh exactly when this happened and how it
06:41 happened and everything and it helped
06:43 confirm
06:44 um i am actually staying right next to
06:46 that so i’m gonna be able to show you
06:47 guys the
06:48 the patterns and you’ll be able to
06:50 physically see
06:51 where the tsunami impacted the ground
06:54 and just mashed everything down and then
06:56 you see
06:57 different color soils it’s it’s really
07:00 really cool
07:00 if you look at it you can basically see
07:03 time
07:04 just like looking at a tree and tree
07:06 rings
07:07 only it’s a side there all these walls
07:10 that were just uh that landslide and you
07:12 can see into it like
07:14 it’s basically like looking back into
07:16 time
07:18 so anyways guys uh pray for the people
07:20 of ocean shores of westport of all these
07:22 places
07:24 i they they estimate 15 000 people will
07:27 die
07:29 15 000 people is how many people died in
07:31 japan and japan was one of the most
07:33 prepared places in the world
07:34 had almost every kind of precaution
07:37 taken because they had big earthquakes
07:40 this is going to be by you know
07:42 basically every urban center from
07:43 portland all the way up i mean this goes
07:45 from canada to the beginning of
07:47 california
07:48 and is going to send anywhere from you
07:51 know 20 to 60 foot waves
07:53 20 miles in in some places two miles in
07:56 in more
07:59 and they’re not ready for it how are
08:02 these people doing millions and millions
08:04 of dollars in tourism
08:05 revenue but they haven’t put up
08:07 evacuation towers
08:08 it doesn’t make any sense it’s going to
08:10 be the worst disaster everybody’s going
08:12 to feel it
08:12 and they’re going to look back and go
08:14 why didn’t we fix it before it was
08:15 broken
08:18 so anyways uh we’ll we’ll see it’s
08:21 everywhere pick
08:22 pick your safe zone there’s boats
08:24 outside of stores here because
08:25 some people are afraid of it and they
08:28 basically say
08:29 you know i’m going to hop in my boat and
08:30 ride out
08:32 if anyone knows about the indian tsunami
08:35 or what happened in japan
08:38 a rowboat’s not gonna save you uh thank
08:42 you
08:42 for the support from whoever that was it
08:44 looks like gone girl triple seven thank
08:46 you so much
08:47 we’ll be getting back to our regular
08:48 shows in just a couple days here
08:50 and i’ll be going live and i’ll show you
08:52 more stuff
08:54 and then whoever else supported i will
08:56 make sure to shout you out
08:57 it looks like raven
09:01 raven ranch thank you guys hey you guys
09:03 have a great day
09:04 be safe be prepared god bless and marv
09:08 out
