01:53 we had a 22-car pileup with eight people
01:57 you know that perished in this accident

02:02 right in in various parts of the middle
02:04 east there’s
02:06 fun names for them that the inner child
02:09 and many of us will laugh i believe it’s
02:10 called a haboob
02:12 but those sandstorms are so intense you
02:15 can have your hand
02:16 three inches in front of your face and
02:18 not see it
02:20 because there’s that much sand and

02:55 getting any more trucks anymore and
02:57 they’re not getting more ships and the
02:59 cargo has just stopped

03:02 chain shortage we’ve ever seen
03:04 in our lifetimes so like you said all of
03:07 this stuff is gonna happen
03:08 we’re gonna everything is about to
03:09 collapse and people are totally asleep

03:12 and they think that everybody thinks
03:15 that they can listen to the news for
03:17 this

03:48 canning of tomatoes in italy italy threw
03:50 out a third of their crop
03:52 right plastic and resin shortages that
03:54 are now preventing
03:55 dairy products from being packaged all
03:58 over europe not just the uk
04:00 but all over europe and even parts of
04:02 you know asia
04:03 and he goes over race have a brother
04:05 who’s a trucker and one of the things
04:07 that he complains about he’s been doing
04:08 it for about 15 years
04:10 is he says you know as things have been
04:12 modernizing they have new requirements
04:15 that make it not only less lucrative to
04:17 be a driver but they make it
04:18 darn near impossible you have to have
04:21 right like i remember when california
04:22 started doing the smog checks
04:24 and everybody was like oh we already do
04:27 an inspection and i already have to pay
04:28 for my registration
04:30 and are you kidding me right what
04:32 truckers have to go through now
04:34 is ten times more difficult it’s like
04:36 being a farmer now if you didn’t
04:38 inherit it and already have like back
04:41 savings i have some cattle farmers and
04:44 cattle ranchers in tennessee and georgia
04:46 and even here in utah
04:47 where they haven’t turned a profit in
04:49 over a decade
04:51 that’s insane and so right like what i
04:53 said china was doing globally to kind of
04:55 put
04:56 everybody in a level of dependency on
04:58 them that’s what we’re doing
04:59 domestically right now so we’re
05:01 importing non-residents
05:03 right we’ve this new spending bill is
05:05 absolutely beautiful
05:06 there’s 10 million that’s dedicated to
05:08 seeing the ramifications of closing down
05:10 the xl pipeline
05:12 not to possibly reopen it not to fix it
05:15 10 million dollars to study
05:19 what closing it has done i mean are you
05:22 kidding me
05:23 like we’re we’re literally living in
05:25 clown world right and then we’re we’re
05:26 talking about
05:28 more lockdowns we’re back and forth with
05:31 everything
05:32 right and and it’s it’s compounding
05:36 over and over and over so we talked
05:38 about lake mead earlier
05:40 right where i live we have lake powell
05:42 and lake powell is very much like
05:44 lake mead but this goes to utah colorado
05:47 arizona new mexico
05:48 it is 165 meters down from last year
05:52 it is the lowest that it has ever been
05:55 in
05:56 all like recorded history and so there’s
05:59 a place called flaming gorge one of our
06:00 other reservoirs
06:01 that they’re emptying a quarter of a
06:03 million gallons of water
06:05 into lake powell it will raise the water
06:08 level by two inches
06:11 two inches and we have right we have
06:13 seven counties
06:14 that are now their reservoirs are at
06:17 zero percent
06:18 and then as soon as that story came out
06:20 about a week ago
06:22 now utah has been getting hit with
06:24 monsoons that have
06:26 i mean i grew up in this state we’ve
06:28 never had that and down in our southern
06:30 area we have cedar city it’s just north
06:32 of st george it’s
06:34 kind of parallel esque to where lake
06:36 powell is
06:37 there are 294 homes that are still being
06:40 dug out of the mud
06:41 from these storms just over the last
06:42 week moab if anybody’s ever been there
06:44 it’s a fantastic destination you can see
06:47 like arches national
06:48 you know park you you can see certain
06:51 parts of just all of this
06:52 beautiful scenery well they had two to
06:55 four inches of water in the first hour
06:56 of their
06:57 their storm their main street hopefully
07:00 you have
07:01 an all-wheel you know sort of vehicle i
07:03 mean if you live there it would be
07:04 pointless not to
07:05 but at the very least the bottoms of
07:08 every door
07:08 on that main street are flooded with
07:11 water
07:12 so now when you think about it this is
07:14 where it gets super interesting
07:16 because with my job i dealt with a lot
07:18 of joint forces so it wasn’t just army
07:20 it wasn’t just my job field
07:22 i dealt with people from all sorts of
07:24 branches from even different countries
07:26 that just you know
07:28 i wish we didn’t have these crazy
