05:49	pandora paper's biggest ever leak of
05:52	offshore data exposes financial secrets
05:55	of the rich and powerful
05:57	it says here that of course the secret
05:59	deals and hidden assets of some of the
06:01	world's most richest and most powerful
06:03	people have been revealed in the biggest
06:05	trove of leaked offshore data in history
06:09	it says branded the pandora paper the
06:12	cache includes 11.9 million files from
06:16	companies hired by wealthy clients to
06:18	create offshore structures and trust in
06:21	tax havens such as panama dubai monaco
06:24	switzerland and the cayman islands
06:27	they expose the secret offshore affairs
06:29	of course of the 35 world leaders
06:31	including current and former presidents
06:34	prime ministers and of course heads of
06:36	state it says they also shine a light on
06:38	the secret finances of more than 300
06:41	other public officials such as
06:43	government ministers judges mayors and
06:45	military generals in more than 90
06:48	countries
06:49	so i want to put something out here that
06:52	again i was kind of talking just briefly
06:55	messaging jacob israel about this
06:58	if anyone has ever seen the show colony
07:00	on netflix it goes over uh kind of a
07:03	future where
07:04	all of the country is is divided into
07:07	blocks and they have hosts and i don't
07:09	want to ruin too much but pretty much
07:11	from the first episode you know that uh
07:13	it's some sort of alien thing
07:15	as as it gets farther along you believe
07:18	it's more like it's ai or advanced ai
07:20	that is actually
07:21	turning the united states into these
07:24	blocks or
07:26	kind of camps i guess you would say
07:28	and dhs department of homeland security
07:31	is actually considered the red hats in
07:34	that uh a lot of symbology uh
07:38	in that whole entire show uh but in that
07:40	show they actually kind of go over the
07:42	idea of ai taking over or
07:44	it was highly advanced
07:47	one thing that i thought about is a lot
07:49	of the talk over the ai that has been
07:51	going on for the last couple years and
07:53	how elon musk a couple years ago said
07:55	that ai was one of the biggest threats
07:58	this and that uh how fast computer
08:01	computers have moved along and then how
08:03	much we have become integrated with
08:05	social media with sites again we'll talk
08:08	about the facebook downage uh in
08:10	facebook and instagram went down
08:12	completely for six hours and then some
08:15	say that things were deleted off of it
08:17	we'll talk about that here in a bit
08:19	uh but it
08:20	the here's the i guess here's the
08:22	general consensus what just a what if
08:24	and this is just a crazy thing this is
08:25	not exactly what i believe i just
08:27	thought it was a very interesting theory
08:29	as far as what if a.i was already in
08:32	integrated in some things and has taken
08:36	over in some way we've read stories that
08:39	even facebook said that uh
08:41	that the creators and the people that
08:43	were behind it in the beginning said
08:45	that they created it and now they can't
08:46	even control it
08:48	as far as they've made all of these
08:50	algorithms all these things behind it
08:52	and now they're almost completely run by
08:54	these these computers right
08:57	and i thought wouldn't it be a trip if
08:59	uh all of this you know if somehow
09:02	somebody created a computer that was
09:03	controlling things in other ways as far
09:06	as our social media and everything else
09:08	what if it was actually an ai that was
09:10	doing all these things that it believes
09:12	would be good for earth or for humanity
09:15	uh but it wouldn't exactly match up with
09:18	what the you know what was going on
09:19	already on the planet
09:21	it's just a thought also there's many
09:24	weird things that have happened in the
09:26	last couple of years
09:27	all of a sudden this explosion of uh
09:30	alien uh you know alien disclosure from
09:33	the actual government them saying that
09:35	they have these offices and and these uh
09:38	flyovers over nuclear plants and things
09:40	like this we had a muamua come in around
09:42	the same time we had all this weird
09:44	stuff we had the false missile alert
09:46	which the guy swears was a real thing
09:48	coming in and then all of a sudden it
09:50	was it was nothing um around that same
09:53	time we
09:54	we basically created uh space force uh
09:57	we decided to go to mars we decided uh
10:00	to put stuff on the moon every country
10:03	said you know now we're doing space
10:05	again and we're doing it hardcore and
10:07	everybody had deadlines like we're by
10:09	2025 we're going to be here we're going
10:11	to do this we're going to do that we're
10:12	going to go to the moon we got to do
10:14	this on colony by the way the factory
10:16	that that everybody is threatened with
10:18	with punishment is a factory with some
10:21	sort of nuclear kind of stuff on the
10:23	moon
10:24	and uh in that show i just thought man
10:26	this is so weird because
10:28	before even watching the show uh you
10:30	know people like jacob israel and myself
10:32	talked about stuff like this and and how
10:34	how much you know symbology is in or and
10:37	stuff around us
10:38	really freaking weird stuff as far as
10:42	was extremely strange even harvard
10:45	professors were risking their entire
10:47	reputation saying that that might have
10:48	been some sort of uh alien spaceship and
10:52	that uh if you look at the
10:54	trajectory it actually came by slowed
10:57	down went by earth and then sped up out
10:59	of the universe and it was our first
11:01	interstellar visitor
11:03	what if it dropped something off that's
11:06	just a crazy theory and i'm not saying
11:08	that's what i believe i but i do have a
11:10	weird feeling about how stuff has gone
11:12	ever since then all this stuff is
11:14	changing uh what if
11:17	you know as far as uh you know
11:19	things have kind of correlated with the
11:22	matrix and
11:23	all sorts of weird things and i would
11:25	just like people to keep open-minded
11:28	again we talk about all sorts of stuff
11:30	here and i think that it's it's okay to
11:34	again we should never lose that i hope
11:36	we never lose that i hope we never lose
11:38	the ability to talk about this now dex
11:40	as far as this goes it it what if uh
11:43	what if an ai like said all the all
11:45	these humans are just disgusting and
11:47	they're gonna expose everybody including
11:49	the people we would say are
11:51	traditionally in charge maybe they're
11:52	not even in charge anymore
11:55	well yeah i mean that certainly could be
11:56	the case or it could just be a group of
11:58	hackers that want to do the exact same
12:00	thing right um either way whether it's
12:02	ai or whether it's you know uh white hat
12:06	uh hackers or whatever you want to call
12:08	them um
12:09	that this kind of information getting
12:11	out certainly is uh
12:13	enlightening to those that are unaware
12:15	of of what's going on in the financial
12:18	aspect of these elites
12:20	well haven't we always heard you know
12:22	i've always seen in movies from as you
12:25	know as far as i can remember is an
12:27	offshore account you know you always see
12:29	in the movies where they have a a swiss
12:31	bank account with you know
12:33	all this money and it's it's untraceable
12:36	and and that's what they've always
12:37	talked about so dex is this saying that
12:40	a lot of these got exposed and we're
12:42	actually seeing what these prime
12:43	minister presidents where they were
12:45	stashed their money is that right yeah
12:47	so what what typically happens is
12:49	they'll create a shell corporation and
12:51	maybe sub corporations underneath those
12:53	shell corporations in other countries
12:55	and they'll
12:56	basically hide the ownerships of those
12:59	interests and ultimately if you actually
13:01	could find the information you'd realize
13:03	oh well it's owned by
13:05	you know jb or it's owned by
13:07	you know some other elite person right
13:09	but that all of that is hidden and it's
13:12	hidden in a way that there's no reason
13:13	for it to ever be revealed well
13:15	apparently now somebody's hacked it or
13:17	gotten the information and they're
13:18	dumping the data so that uh at least in
13:20	these
13:21	uh handful of countries like panama and
13:24	the
13:24	caymans they're able to you know expose
13:27	what the what data they did find
13:29	and uh so here's a good chunk that says
13:32	it all it says the pandora papers reveal
13:34	the inner workings of what is a shadow
13:37	financial world uh providing a rare
13:40	window into the hidden operations of a
13:42	global offshore economy that enables
13:44	some of the world's richest people to
13:46	hide their wealth in some cases pay
13:48	little or no tax
13:50	so
13:51	when you get to this level i don't get
13:53	it though it's like these people are so
13:55	beyond rich and
13:58	i guess it's all perspective right if
14:00	you have billions of dollars and you are
14:03	pissed off about paying uh you know five
14:05	million dollars in taxes or 50 million
14:08	once you're passed a billion it's like
14:10	how do you i get that they don't want to
14:13	lose any of it and they probably look at
14:15	every dollar as you know a theft from
14:17	them all the way down to if you're
14:18	working a minimum wage job right
14:21	but again it's like when
14:24	it's so crazy to me that they uh
14:27	if you have that much money it's just
14:30	compounding it's like that tax is
14:32	probably the amount that you're gonna
14:34	make in interest it's probably not even
14:36	what you make an interest off of that
14:37	much money i so i just don't i don't
14:40	understand some of that it says there
14:42	are emails memos incorporation records
14:44	share certificates compliance reports
14:47	and complex diagrams showing
14:49	labyrinthine
14:51	corporate structures often
14:53	they allow the true owners of opaque
14:55	shell companies to be identified for the
14:58	first time
14:59	so is somebody of course leaking these
15:02	out saying hey this is behind all of
15:04	what is happening right now you know
15:06	like uh this is where all this real
15:08	money is actually going uh you know
15:12	could this have been the goal to to say
15:14	hey this is where all the money is going
15:17	from all of this crazy stuff uh it's
15:20	just crazy how many big names are
15:23	involved in this it says the pandora
15:25	papers represent the latest and largest
15:27	terms of data volume in a series of
15:29	major links of finance financial data
15:32	that have convulsed the offshore world
15:34	since 2013.
15:36	setting up or benefiting from offshore
15:38	entities is not in itself illegal but in
15:41	some cases people may have had
15:42	legitimate reasons such as security uh
15:45	for doing so but the secrecy offered by
15:48	tax havens has at time proven attractive
15:50	to tax evaders fraudsters and money
15:54	launderers some of whom are exposed in
15:56	the files it says other wealthy
15:59	individuals and companies stashed their
16:01	assets offshore to avoid paying tax
16:03	elsewhere a legal activity that
16:06	estimated to cost governments billions
16:08	in lost revenues
16:10	so one other thing too is like now
16:13	there's this huge push uh for the irs to
16:16	track every single transaction once you
16:18	get past 600 in a bank account which is
16:20	pretty much anybody even if you're
16:22	working minimum wage job after two weeks
16:24	you're going to get a 600 paycheck and
16:26	most likely it has to go in the bank a
16:28	lot of places are now doing only direct
16:30	deposit or if you want to wait for your
16:32	check you're going to have to wait a
16:33	week after everybody else gets paid and
16:34	nobody wants that um again most people
16:37	have a bank account that are you know
16:39	that are working or at least most of
16:41	them i guess 25 percent of our our
16:43	country doesn't but
16:45	again they want to take that away they
16:46	want the banking for all app and they uh
16:48	act and then they also want
16:50	uh to tax every single dollar that's
16:53	where i think some of this digital
16:55	digitalization of everything comes in
16:57	this is where i think that you know you
16:58	take away cash if you did take away cash
17:01	uh it would reduce the amount that money
17:04	uh that people spend without the
17:06	government knowing if you buy an apple
17:08	for two dollars from a fruit vendor and
17:10	give them cash and they give you an
17:12	apple you eat that there's no evidence
17:14	you ever bought that apple
17:16	unless they look back to when you
17:18	actually withdrew the two dollars but
17:19	what if you got paid that two dollars
17:21	for services you gave and nobody is
17:24	tracking your services
17:26	or are they who knows maybe in the
17:28	future you might have something in your
17:30	body that actually tracks uh that you
17:32	are physically doing labor or
17:35	who knows you might be wearing the
17:36	newest pair of ray-bans with cameras and
17:39	facebook attached to it and then they
17:41	might just facial recognition all of
17:42	your friends
17:44	that's a real thing by the way i just
17:45	posted that on uh on twitter ray-ban and
17:48	facebook have teamed up
17:50	like it was creepy enough that oculus
17:52	and facebook teamed up now ray-ban so
17:55	people are gonna be walking around with
17:56	ray-bans uh doing using the facial
17:59	recognition algorithm from facebook on
18:01	every person they walk by
18:03	and people are going to be begging for
18:05	them in fact i bet you the pre-orders
18:07	will be sold out and people will be
18:08	begging to put them on their face
18:12	and
18:12	by the way adam the pandora papers are a
18:15	perfect example of in my opinion why tax
18:17	the rich never works because
18:19	it's a great platitude that uh certain
18:22	politicians like to jump on and but in
18:24	reality it's just a statement it never
18:26	happens what happens is they go after
18:29	600 bank accounts and try to nickel and
18:31	dime everything they can get from
18:34	the working class to pay the bills
18:36	because the rich will always be hiding
18:38	their money
18:39	and never paying taxes and this is proof
18:41	of that
18:42	well it's just
18:44	it's crazy they all do it too and you
18:46	know of course uh our last president he
18:49	was accused of doing it uh the current
18:51	prize the current president's kid i mean
18:53	all of them do it almost every rich
18:56	wealthy person uh does this and yeah i i
19:00	don't i've never heard of one that
19:01	probably doesn't uh do some sort of form
19:04	i mean it gets it gets way bigger when
19:06	uh you know even if you have a small
19:08	business you can find tax write-offs and
19:10	most people try to find every tax write
19:12	if they possibly can
19:13	to save money on taxes when you get up
19:15	to the billion dollar level i'm sure
19:17	that they're you know they're writing
19:19	off crazy stuff you know writing off
19:21	twenty thousand dollar lunches and who
19:24	knows they could go to wa you know they
19:25	could go to um
19:27	mcdonald's for their lunch but say it
19:29	was a 20 000 meeting because of who
19:31	they're meeting you never know
19:33	uh now we had an article on shrink
19:35	flation it is on the website it didn't
19:37	load properly but
19:38	this picture kind of says it all
19:40	uh things are getting smaller and of
19:42	course we've noticed this over the years
19:44	uh but it's really bad dex do you want
19:46	to explain this i mean if this picture
19:48	says a lot it's like
19:50	doritos
19:51	is an example
19:52	9.7 ounces for uh 250 they actually
19:56	reduce the amount of chips inside of it
19:58	and raise the prices
20:01	exactly so this is we talked about this
20:03	a little bit in the past but now it is
20:05	starting to happen quite a bit and i
20:07	think you're going to notice if you
20:08	would actually pay attention when you go
20:09	to the store you'll start to see that
20:11	the ounces are shrinking so in other
20:14	words if you bought a family size cereal
20:16	that was 19.3 ounces it might be 18.8
20:19	now and the price would have actually
20:21	gone up it didn't go down so that gets
20:24	that's a double hit so you're getting
20:25	less product and you're paying more for
20:27	it maybe more for the ounce right
20:30	yeah this is happening everywhere right
20:32	now so i i've taught my uh 15 year old
20:35	daughter and she was amazed to see that
20:36	all of the tags at the grocery store
20:38	actually show uh the price per unit the
20:41	price per sheet so i used it as an
20:44	example with toilet paper uh you know
20:46	you can get the cheaper toilet paper or
20:49	you can get the better one uh i you know
20:51	we usually try to look for the better
20:52	softer one but also has the best prices
20:55	per sheet it will show you down at the
20:57	bottom and through doing that though uh
21:00	one thing that you know she noticed and
21:02	everybody notices is that some things
21:04	are way overpriced for less even though
21:07	the package looks bigger it will look
21:09	like a bigger package but of course it's
21:11	actually you're getting a
21:12	crapload less uh you're talking about
21:15	they have huge boxes for uh tiny little
21:18	things uh if you think about how they
21:20	market these bagged chips for kids
21:22	lunches they come in these humongous
21:25	boxes and they're now like 20 dollars
21:27	for 40 bags or whatever and then each
21:30	bag has now gotten smaller the box has
21:33	stayed the same so you think you're
21:35	getting this big you know great family
21:37	deal ultra deal
21:39	but when you actually look at the price
21:41	per unit if you get like two or three
21:43	big bags you're getting as much as in
21:45	that whole freaking thing for like half
21:48	of the price
21:50	so it's it's all you know it's marketing
21:52	but this is also called shrink flation
21:54	so it is we're
21:56	losing money and we're losing product
21:58	and it's it's going faster and faster
22:00	and faster

23:54	this dex is how did how does somebody
23:56	who's 90 years old no matter how good of
23:58	a shape he is in how do they take these
24:01	g-forces and how are they sending normal
24:03	people uh they used to tell us that you
24:06	know it took somebody who was physically
24:08	fit and they had to do months of
24:09	training and
24:10	and now they're just like putting 10 g's
24:13	on a 90 year old
24:15	how does that work
24:17	well uh that's interesting because i
24:18	don't know i'm assuming he has to go
24:20	through some basic training to deal with
24:22	uh you know getting acclimated to the
24:25	g-forces so maybe he's in really good
24:28	shape
24:29	i don't know he's he has aged well you
24:31	have to admit uh he's a spunky old dude

24:35	that william shatner is 90 years old

26:59	really was if there really has been
27:01	people up there for however many you

31:40	me like somebody's got the information
31:43	probably via a hack or via some sort of

31:49	that they you know have able to identify
31:51	these people and are quickly uh
31:54	eradicating them
31:56	and and he's putting that nice so it
32:00	says that leading counter intelligence
32:02	officials issued a memo to all of the
32:05	cia's global stations saying that it had
32:08	a concerning number of u.s informants
32:11	were being captured
32:13	and executed
32:14	this is no joke so somebody found the
32:16	massive list of everybody that was in
32:19	the cia and took them out what's even
32:22	scarier about this is if say if our
32:25	country got infiltrated in our actual
32:27	secret computers uh got infiltrated and
32:30	by the way there's theories that our
32:32	country the us here
32:34	has been infiltrated by a certain other
32:36	country
32:39	what if they were able to access our
32:40	computer systems and find the list of
32:43	all the ca of cia numbers i mean like
32:46	members look at this
32:48	all of our actual spies are getting
32:50	eradicated i don't see a chinese or a
32:53	russian article saying that their spies
32:55	are going missing
32:56	so our spies uh the legitimate cia
33:00	agents that you know some may be on good
33:02	missions some may be helping uh take

34:07	feelings is rare as that figure is
34:10	typically held under wraps from the
34:12	public and even from some cia employees

34:17	it says the cable which also cited the
34:19	issue of putting quote mission over
34:21	security comes amid recent efforts by
34:24	countries like russia china or pakistan
34:27	to find cia informants and turn them
34:30	into double agents

34:38	long-standing issues like placing too
34:40	much trust in sources a speedy
34:42	recruiting process and inadequate
34:44	attention to potential intelligence

40:41	and the the color of their skin mattered
40:43	in this case it was a white man which by
40:45	the way 70 percent of the border patrol
40:47	is hispanic

40:52	it was very low odds that we would have
40:54	saw a a white gentleman with reigns
40:57	which was probably going to be swung to

41:02	was like this and the photographer that
41:04	actually took the photo that froze it in

41:10	that's not what was happening
41:13	the reason why they're on horses which a
41:16	lot of people do not realize and why it
41:18	is so insane that a president that

44:42	free stuff and then when you have laws
44:45	being passed where they don't even have
44:46	to show or they just show the basic
44:48	stuff that they're given right when they

44:55	fate of our next

46:14	obviously a something being set up there

49:58	component of facebook but it all

50:02	lots of those whether it's photos on
50:04	your page or videos on your page or a
50:06	text post or
50:08	sharing a link all of those are

50:11	when their services went out it went out
50:12	across the board but when they came back
50:14	up it came back up in pieces right and

50:18	recovering it's possible that you know

50:22	at one point was not there when they had

51:24	redundancy so if a system goes down you
51:26	know three servers go down to new york
51:27	it doesn't really affect everything it
51:30	just might flicker off for a few people

51:33	and they'll get that up and running and
51:34	nobody will really notice but in this

51:37	something went down across the board in
51:38	other words it went across the entire
51:40	system now they're saying it was a
51:42	network issue and of course they always
51:44	say this is just

51:48	stuff is it's a configuration
51:51	issue or we made configuration changes
51:53	to their network which brought their
51:55	network down meaning you couldn't reach
51:57	anything
51:58	which in effect would make you think
52:00	facebook is down if you open the app and
52:02	it can't reach anything it's going to
52:03	look like it's down
52:05	um so maybe that is what happened or
52:06	maybe it's not maybe something more
52:08	sinister went on
52:10	so you are you're kind of saying there
52:12	there could be a debunk there or there
52:15	could not
52:17	oh yeah they came out with an official
52:18	statement saying it was
52:20	configuration changes on their own
52:23	routers and their own network meaning
52:25	they brought so wait a second did they
52:27	the error was their network right so did
52:29	they say this was on purpose did they
52:31	say that it was uh or they said it was a
52:33	mistake

52:36	they of course uh said that they fixed
52:38	on their end or something like this
52:40	yeah they're they're just saying it was

52:43	write it off as them saying it's a
52:45	mistake and a configuration change on
52:47	their routers which caused a cascading
52:49	effect across their entire network it's
52:51	going to take them time to fix i

53:32	we found out that facebook was gathering
53:34	data not only on the people that were
53:36	their customers
53:38	we had even congress call it out
53:40	that they were gathering data on the
53:42	people that were not
53:44	so when your brother uploaded a photo of
53:47	you and him
53:48	at a fireplace they would gather your
53:51	data your facial recognition stuff but
53:54	also
53:55	they were able to connect to other apps
53:57	we know this because we've seen uh now
54:00	we found out about these uh different
54:02	these different programs
54:04	that we're connecting all of them
54:06	remember when aj got knocked off and
54:08	they were like oh it's all completely
54:10	separate for different reasons but we're
54:12	all kind of
54:13	yeah
54:14	it was connecting through all of the
54:16	boards that's why if you say something
54:18	on twitter you can actually get all of
54:20	your platforms removed or vice versa if
54:23	you say something on the tube
54:25	and you know they don't like then all of
54:27	a sudden facebook instagram oh this you
54:30	know everybody will get rid of you
54:33	so when we found out that they were
54:35	doing that that means all of that
54:37	information they had more information
54:39	than the fbi and even psychological
54:42	profiles in fact if you wanted to solve
54:44	a murder you could probably do it uh
54:47	more so with facebook
54:49	than you could uh with of course
54:52	with the fbi's database
54:56	this massive global
54:58	outage uh plunged facebook its instagram
55:01	and whatsapp platforms and many people
55:03	who rely heavily on these services
55:05	including facebook's own workforce into
55:07	chaos on monday
55:09	the company did not say what might be
55:11	causing the outage which began and of
55:14	course now they've kind of updated it
55:15	says etn was still unfixed more than six
55:19	hours later although the scattered users
55:21	have reported partial restoration of one
55:24	service or another websites and apps
55:26	often suffering outages of varying size
55:29	and durations but hours-long global
55:31	disruptions
55:33	are rare
55:34	again this was rare
55:37	this was like
55:39	we just talked about it about a week ago
55:41	with the movie moonfall
55:44	how some think it's predictive
55:46	programming uh how there was a video
55:48	that was supposedly
55:50	on youtube
55:52	and i say that because no one can
55:54	provide proof of it
55:57	but everybody talked about it
55:59	the entire youtube community talked
56:02	about this video that was on youtube
56:05	right before youtube went down globally
56:08	now youtube has only had a couple
56:10	instances like that one of them
56:13	was a for sure event that happened
56:16	supposedly in uh in
56:18	church
56:20	nz
56:21	the country of nz
56:23	right
56:25	and when that happened they altered the
56:27	platform and they changed the uploading
56:30	and they they tried to stop this video
56:31	from being shared because people were
56:33	copying it over and it was so good you
56:35	know grotesque
56:37	i was unlucky enough to see it
56:40	even if it was fake it was it was worse
56:42	than
56:43	because the thought in your brain was
56:45	thinking this is this is a real thing
56:48	it was horrible
56:50	uh i think dex you would probably say
56:52	the same thing we we're we you know we
56:54	cover news so we ended up watching that
56:57	was not something i ever want to see
56:59	again
57:02	so with that event they did the same
57:04	thing with the other one was the moon
57:06	outage
57:07	so my question is for this facebook
57:10	outage was there something that was
57:11	uploaded to it
57:13	was there a facebook live
57:15	that started getting shared that went
57:18	viral well
57:19	well there are some coincidence that
57:21	were happening at this time so we did
57:23	have the whistleblower uh that was
57:24	coming out and we've got some
57:26	information on that that happened right
57:28	about the same time so
57:30	was it coordinated was it coincidental
57:33	was it trying to
57:35	maybe prevent the dust the dissemination
57:38	of that whistleblower information that
57:40	was going out on 60 minutes i think it
57:42	was
57:43	um there was also a cyber attack and
57:45	we're not reporting on this yet because
57:47	it hasn't actually been proven so we're
57:49	kind of waiting to see if it's confirmed
57:51	legit but somebody said that they have
57:53	1.5
57:55	billion names and addresses phone
57:57	numbers and
57:59	usernames
58:01	of facebook users and they put them up
58:03	for sale
58:04	at the same time but unrelated they
58:06	didn't say this was because that outage
58:08	but that happened at the same time so
58:09	all of these interesting things sort of
58:11	all happened at the same time
58:14	so they very well could have been hiding
58:16	something that happened um
58:19	again a whistleblower a very important
58:21	one popped out at the same time that
58:23	would make logical sense
58:26	and this is real this is another thing
58:28	to keep in mind they make 26 billion i
58:30	believe it is per quarter
58:32	um so for them to have been down for six
58:35	hours that's somewhere in the
58:36	neighborhood of around 70 to
58:39	almost 73 million dollars in loss
58:43	so that's pretty expensive if you think
58:45	about them going down that's a lot of
58:46	money 73 million dollars lost for six
58:48	hours of outage that's like a uh
58:51	a facebook sandwich
58:53	that's like you know yeah but just to
58:55	shareholders it's a big deal right and

59:00	they were 32 million dollars

60:25	unregulated by governments to do
60:28	everything send messages make calls
60:30	receive information and coordinate
60:32	meetings in daily life i do want to make
60:34	a point that i know people that purely
60:36	uh do not have a cell phone they cannot
60:39	afford a cell phone uh when they run out
60:41	of their obama phone minutes
60:44	they depend on facebook as their main
60:46	communication
60:49	one of my friends who is pregnant right
60:52	now she actually depends on facebook for
60:55	all of her communication
60:57	she's basically uh broke and has been
61:00	left to take care of the kid by herself

61:04	horrible thing right
61:06	she's just literally in a crap position
61:10	she has to use facebook for every single
61:14	communication
61:16	so one thing i i want to say is why

61:19	you know considered a uh

61:26	for not a platform
61:29	but like more of a uh
61:33	i guess like the phone company right
61:36	this we have uh we have everything we
61:38	have infrastructure right it's

61:42	so when this goes down it's a huge deal

61:47	people's lives in the modern age the age
61:49	of the internet has rapidly shifted
61:51	power into the hands of a few large tech
61:54	giants that operate as monopolies of the
61:57	planes of hosting distribution and

62:04	that increasingly serve as stand-ins for
62:07	phone networks when the internet age
62:10	began in the 1990s it provided a radical
62:12	new way for people to access information
62:15	before that there was only television
62:17	and radio the nature of that net uh of
62:20	the net interactive in ways the others
62:23	two weren't uh it says
62:25	meant that it could rapidly began uh
62:27	begin to inhabit a multiplicity of
62:30	places in people's lives that hit herto
62:33	were not thought
62:34	possible it says soon after the internet

62:46	other mediums news went online battering

63:16	2000s was a unique free-for-all wild
63:19	west the new age reflects more of an era
63:21	of a robber barons of the us in the late

63:35	different apps that that cross

64:45	other places we of course had the
64:47	pipeline knocked out for a matter of
64:50	days uh of course screwing up you know
64:52	the entire upper east coast uh gas
64:55	you know they couldn't even get gas out
64:58	it says the question should be asked
65:00	increasingly by governments is how they
65:02	can replicate or maintain communications
65:05	of major internet systems in case of an
65:08	outage among
65:09	major companies that are too big to fail
65:16	it says the world is entering an era of
65:18	uncertainty reflected uh not only in the
65:21	endemic but also in great power
65:24	competition this is because the uh world
65:27	order that emerged after the cold
65:29	conflict uh which led the global
65:32	dominance to of the united states has
65:34	now shifted to a league of authoritarian
65:37	countries that are at odds with
65:39	washington and western democracies
65:42	so just to go over that last part
65:44	it it's saying that you know that it
65:47	power is shifting right now and if power
65:49	shifts

87:42	security cooperation as beijing

87:53	or adiz since friday prompting the
87:55	self-ruled island to scramble its own
87:58	military jets speaking to the abc's

88:05	declared that if the pla were to launch
88:08	an actual strike his democratic state

105:56	satisfied is necessary to prevent combat

106:20	persons or removal of persons or
106:22	livestock and personal property from any
106:25	area of saskatchewan that it may be
106:27	affected by an emergency and make

106:31	protection of those persons or livestock

108:48	a new kid in that area uh would they be
108:50	able to clear trees whatever try to
108:53	contain it do whatever
