00:08	what is going on guys it is adam mckay
00:10	marth today's show is going to be packed
00:12	we're going to talk about uh of course a
00:14	x-class flare and a cme right behind it
00:18	and we're actually going to bring on a
00:19	special guest today so we'll be right
00:21	back right after this
00:25	[Music]
00:28	nothing in the show should be considered
00:29	legal medical or financial advice the
00:31	views of the callers can differ
00:32	considerably and do not necessarily
00:34	reflect my opinion dex's opinion or
00:36	anyone else who works with the show you
00:38	should always do your own research and
00:39	consult with professionals the internet
00:41	is full of fake news so please take
00:42	everything with a grain green assault if
00:43	you have not already it helps us out if
00:46	you end up going through any of our
00:47	affiliates and it helps you out if you
00:49	end up protecting yourself against cyber
00:51	crime nordvpn is one of the best and one
00:53	of the easiest to use if you do not have
00:55	a virtual private network it protects
00:57	your ip address which is your online
00:59	identity which actually connects to your
01:01	real address and everything else it also
01:03	connects to you if you know anything
01:05	about how they are data logging and
01:07	basically getting your profiles down you
01:09	can prevent that by having a vpn nord is
01:12	again one of the easiest download it
01:14	it's like an on switch and off switch
01:16	all you have to do go to
01:18	motherfuckingnews.comvpn not only will
01:20	you get a giant discount on this but you
01:22	will also be helping us i appreciate
01:24	your support and i appreciate everyone
01:25	that goes through any of our affiliates
01:27	i can't say thank you enough
01:39	[Music]
01:41	all right all right what is going on
01:42	guys it is adam aka marf and this is
01:44	mark frugal news we're going to go over
01:46	uh a well a lot in a really short amount
01:49	of time uh we are actually doing an
01:51	alert today because we are getting word
01:54	that of course this cme and x-class
01:56	flare that we are talking about of
01:58	course more and more is coming out about
02:00	it it is uh looks like it is going to be
02:02	a direct hit so we're going to make this
02:04	as short as possible so you can share
02:06	this with friends and family but just to
02:08	go over uh kind of the basics uh
02:11	halloween solar flare headed for earth
02:13	could trigger northern lights this
02:15	weekend and disrupt the power grid as i
02:18	said the other night on the show i did
02:20	believe that you know we very well may
02:22	see actual uh effects from this and
02:24	we're gonna have a special guest here in
02:26	just a second uh pop in
02:29	it says the sun launched a massive solar
02:31	flare yesterday that's headed in earth's
02:33	direction the strongest storm seen in
02:35	the current weather cycle the volley of
02:38	radiation may trigger the northern
02:39	lights if it collides with our
02:41	atmosphere and could cause major issues
02:43	for the power grids nasa's solar
02:45	dynamics observatory which tracks the
02:48	sun's activity captured an image of the
02:50	event at 11 35 a.m on thursday it has
02:53	already caused a temporary but strong
02:55	radio blackout in parts of south america
02:58	according to the u.s weather prediction
03:00	center the flare is a result of the
03:02	coronal mass ejection a huge expulsion
03:06	of plasma from the sun's outer layer
03:08	called the corona
03:10	so we're going to actually bring in
03:12	someone again just to quickly go over
03:14	the smallest flares are a-class then it
03:17	goes up from there and the strongest are
03:20	x class and then from there on x has one
03:22	through nine uh this was on the lower
03:24	scale of the x class uh but it is a
03:27	direct hit or at least that's what some
03:30	are saying it will be they're already
03:32	saying that it's affecting things and uh
03:35	we have wages world here with us today
03:38	and he says that it may have lasting
03:40	effects and uh we'll have him pop in to
03:43	talk about that uh wages do we have you
03:46	here
03:50	yeah yeah what's up adam
03:51	so okay let's uh just go over kind of
03:54	what what you've been watching you of
03:56	course follow this all the time uh what
03:58	would you say to you know friends and
03:59	family members if if you were to give
04:02	them kind of a five-minute breakdown on
04:03	this
04:06	well i would say um kind of like what
04:07	you just read there in the article this
04:09	is the the biggest
04:11	event that we've had this this sun cycle
04:14	and we're about two months into it
04:17	so you know it's actually it's kind of
04:18	early to see this kind of activity
04:21	but we will ramp up from here with the
04:23	sun in general anyway
04:25	as we move towards a solar maximum in
04:26	this cycle but this one is uh this one
04:29	is definitely a little bit different
04:31	because there was another x-class player
04:34	a few months back but it was actually
04:37	not earth directed
04:39	so the sun's been active anyway it just
04:41	hasn't been shooting anything at us this
04:43	is this one is right dead smack in the
04:46	middle it's coming at us there is no
04:48	question whether or not it's going to
04:49	hit
04:50	um you know we've had already had the
04:52	x-ray stuff hit the x-ray
04:55	is here um it it gets here in like eight
04:58	minutes moves at speed of light
05:00	so the initial blast from that it highly
05:03	charged our our um ionosphere and that's
05:06	what caused you know a lot of the radio
05:07	blackouts when that first happens now
05:09	when that happens the radio blackouts
05:11	only last for like an hour and then it
05:13	really does fade off pretty fast with
05:15	that but
05:16	we got two more m-class flares after
05:19	that and it's still firing and it ain't
05:21	even from the same sunspot so
05:24	the whole the whole front of the sun
05:26	there's four of them right now facing us
05:28	but as far as the x the x-class flare
05:30	itself
05:31	um
05:33	you know this one we were expecting to
05:34	see this one from the northern
05:37	and it actually fired from the south
05:39	so when that happens it kind of just
05:40	destabilizes the whole front side of the
05:42	sun and that's that's kind of what we're
05:44	looking at so you know when we talk
05:46	about like grid stuff and things like
05:48	that
05:49	um it really takes like a double tap is
05:51	what we kind of call it
05:53	unless it's like a huge huge one like a
05:55	carrington event one which this is not
05:57	that big but
05:59	this is definitely significant because
06:00	this is a long duration event
06:03	um you guys can go look at the noaa
06:05	stuff if you need to you look at that
06:06	stuff you will see that it will last
06:09	just a few hours um and then it will
06:12	stay and it'll peak and it'll stay like
06:14	that for
06:16	like a day
06:17	so when that happens that that's
06:19	actually worse on our on our grid system
06:22	you know we would rather get a real big
06:24	blast to tear and gone real quick
06:27	um
06:28	other than
06:29	the extended
06:30	long duration events because that's
06:32	really what would kill the grid stuff
06:34	so that's what we're looking at with the
06:36	the x-class player itself
06:38	um you know it's a dense one also this
06:42	one was a little bit different in the in
06:44	the way that it
06:45	fired off the cme after the flare um it
06:49	actually came from the core of the
06:51	sunspot the magnetic connection lines
06:53	and typically that we don't see that a
06:55	whole lot so what that was was a highly
06:58	dense plasma that shot out and it's
07:01	going to hit us
07:02	um and there is no question i mean all
07:05	the forecasting is saying hey listen
07:08	it's all there nobody's arguing that
07:10	it's coming right at us and
07:12	so what can we expect i imagine
07:14	everybody's kind of asking that
07:16	um you know
07:18	there's there's a whole lot of things we
07:19	can you know the first thing people are
07:21	going to see is aurora
07:22	those are going to reach down pretty far
07:25	they're talking you know northern
07:27	california maybe even further south than
07:29	that that's incredible um so just pay
07:31	attention
07:32	yeah
07:33	so just just uh pay attention to your uh
07:35	latitude line and you may end up seeing
07:37	some auroras that you don't typically
07:39	see
07:40	also if you're in if you're actually
07:42	north north of that um what's actually
07:45	different about this one also is that
07:47	people don't understand that the aurora
07:50	is when we get hit like this the people
07:52	in the north have to actually look
07:53	towards the south because it's not
07:55	actually over the pole
07:57	so that's kind of that's a different
07:59	thing that people
08:00	kind of miss on that a little bit too
08:02	but the the flare as far as the cme goes
08:05	that is really where we start talking
08:08	about the grid stuff
08:09	um you know but this one had more of
08:12	just that i mean we have a high we have
08:15	a radiation storm with this as well
08:17	um that doesn't always happen
08:19	we what a radiation storm is is an
08:22	excessive amount of protons that impact
08:24	our
08:25	ionosphere and if you look at the some
08:28	of the charts and stuff in the grass you
08:29	will see that and that they tend to hang
08:32	around the polar regions um it'll light
08:35	up the absorption chart and just like
08:36	the flares do
08:38	but they're two separate things so the
08:40	flare gets here in like eight minutes
08:42	the usually the radiation storms are
08:44	here in like a half hour
08:46	and then
08:47	then you get the cme depending on how
08:49	fast it's moving and this one's moving
08:51	fast
08:52	okay this one is not a slow mover which
08:54	actually
08:55	is
08:56	part of why this is going to be an issue
08:58	um you know they're predicting a g3
09:02	storm
09:03	which don't let that fool you by saying
09:05	that that ain't great that it's not that
09:07	strong but g3 is strong enough to do
09:10	whatever it needs to
09:12	um you know i'm not saying that it's
09:13	going to because really nobody can say a
09:15	hundred percent but that's that's what
09:18	it depends on it depends on how how
09:21	directly it hits really i mean even a
09:23	smaller storm can do more damage if it
09:25	hits directly or if it hits the right
09:27	things uh but this is a one of those
09:30	kind of medium ones that's hitting right
09:32	on and then it is on the upper side of
09:35	of the strength one question i have is
09:37	is you follow this very closely uh
09:40	you've centered your channel if you guys
09:42	want to check out uh this is wages world
09:45	wage s
09:46	world
09:48	again and you follow all of the maps and
09:51	all of the graphs all the time have you
09:53	noticed since the new uh cycle 25 has
09:57	started has it been more active or
10:00	how would you put that is it is it uh
10:03	what is happening is stronger or what is
10:06	different about this new solar cycle
10:07	that just started
10:10	well i can tell you this but it is most
10:12	you know just look if you just look at
10:14	the data it will tell you that we have
10:16	uh went from quiet to very very busy way
10:20	quicker than what they expected
10:22	um you know there was a lot of you know
10:25	discussion among you know the community
10:27	here whether or not this was going to be
10:28	a stronger cycle or a weaker cycle
10:31	most people were saying weaker but there
10:33	were a few scientists that stepped out
10:35	and did some did some work with some
10:37	peer-reviewed papers saying that this is
10:39	probably going to be a more active
10:42	season
10:43	as far as the strength goes you know
10:45	because when we talk about the sun cycle
10:47	you have to all they do is they go off
10:48	with the amount of sun spots that face
10:50	the earth that's all that's the only
10:52	thing that they use for that
10:54	it's kind of deceiving because you can
10:56	have a bunch of sunspots and not really
10:57	have much activity
10:59	so you know
11:01	as far as what's going to hit us but you
11:03	you said it a minute ago with you know
11:05	how it's going to hit us the direction
11:07	is very important
11:09	because we if you ever hear anybody say
11:11	the bz that is the angle of our magnetic
11:14	field and how it gets
11:16	how the stuff comes into our system so
11:18	if it's in a if it's in a southerly
11:21	position or northerly position it makes
11:24	a huge difference
11:25	so you know when it goes south that's
11:28	when
11:29	we take the big hits
11:31	so a lot of it and that is something
11:33	that we cannot predict we won't know
11:36	what happens until that happens until it
11:38	gets here
11:39	um it just depends there's a whole lot
11:41	of factors of foot that play into that
11:44	but that is the single biggest you know
11:46	factor in how
11:48	stuff hits us
11:50	and how strong it gets
11:52	because if
11:53	if we're facing towards the north we
11:54	actually will deflect a lot of it
11:57	um it's even when we're facing north
11:59	sometimes it'll even fill in cracks in
12:01	our magnetic field
12:03	it's it's kind of crazy how that works
12:05	but that's what it does
12:08	so the direction like you said a minute
12:09	ago in the density that is
12:12	the big deal here also
12:14	uh four if you guys look at the it's
12:17	centimeters cubed that's how they
12:19	measure this on the plasma density four
12:22	would be what we would consider nominal
12:23	or just kind of normal conditions this
12:25	one's going to be up over 60.
12:27	no so this is uh yeah well
12:31	no i contin you can uh please finish i i
12:35	did have a question about um before you
12:37	leave i want to i want to ask you about
12:39	why there is so much uh chatter about uh
12:43	the next couple years and then
12:44	especially 2024 why why that is and why
12:48	the the community is saying that we are
12:50	in for
12:51	uh possibly a catastrophe
12:53	um again but i i didn't mean to
12:55	interrupt you there
12:58	no no you're fine man i mean honestly i
13:00	was about to win my point anyway but
13:02	um yes you know because 2024 actually
13:06	would make sense for you know if we're
13:08	really going to be watching for
13:09	something that's going to happen that is
13:11	about the time frame where we would
13:13	consider us being in close to very close
13:15	to solar maximum for this cycle
13:18	um you know if i would point people over
13:21	to the noaa site
13:22	and if you scroll if you just go to the
13:24	regular dashboard there you can scroll
13:26	all the way to the bottom and they have
13:28	a sunspot number progression
13:30	and uh what you can go back historically
13:33	you can go back before the carrington
13:35	event i mean they've got this all
13:37	plotted out and everything and you can
13:39	you can see a cyclical thing and that's
13:41	what i was trying to say
13:42	um it's a cycle it really is
13:45	um you know and we talk about a whole
13:47	lot of things around this and
13:49	you know and just to be honest you know
13:51	there's really no way to say 100
13:54	you know we can just be educated and
13:55	look what we're looking at and try to
13:57	you know do the best we can with what
13:59	we've got
14:00	and obviously we don't get to see all
14:02	the data because they just simply can't
14:03	they don't post it people wouldn't even
14:05	understand it if it was
14:06	but
14:07	do you think
14:08	do you think they're hiding do you do
14:10	you think the government knows uh more
14:12	than we do as as civilians and do you
14:15	think that they're obvious i mean well
14:17	personally i think the the way that they
14:19	are preparing their own buildings as far
14:21	as uh grid protection do you think that
14:23	they are they know something we don't
14:28	i would have to say 100 on that i mean i
14:31	i really you know that's again
14:34	there's no way i could actually just say
14:36	you know here's go look at this this
14:37	proves what i'm saying
14:39	but
14:39	yes i mean i think that we would all be
14:42	naive to think that that they're telling
14:44	us everything i mean there's no way
14:46	you know there's a whole lot of reasons
14:48	that could be happening in my opinion
14:50	you know are they doing it for the
14:51	nevada of what's going on are they doing
14:53	it for the good are they afraid of civil
14:55	unrest and all those things that we talk
14:58	about
14:59	but yes i don't think we're there's no
15:01	way we're going to be able to see
15:02	everything this is not going to happen
15:04	you know i i it's the same thing with
15:06	like any kind of political conversation
15:09	and stuff like that that really does go
15:11	back to that i mean sometimes they just
15:14	they won't tell it but i do think that
15:16	they know things that we don't
15:17	um and something interesting i would
15:19	point out i don't know if it really has
15:20	much to do with the x player but we did
15:22	have a sundiver
15:24	right as that thing fired off um we've
15:26	had a lot of
15:27	debris that we're going through right
15:28	now anyway
15:30	um you know a lot of a lot of comet
15:32	debris matter of fact we went through
15:34	something that was pretty dense um
15:37	that was unexpected so you know we had a
15:39	lot of a lot of talk around that
15:42	but you know as far as with this
15:44	explainer and what it can do to us i
15:46	mean yes it can really put a hurt it
15:48	really can and the way that i would
15:50	explain it just to really briefly say it
15:52	it is like a long duration global like
15:56	really weak emp
15:58	it really is
15:59	that's and if you talk to any scientist
16:01	that's probably exactly how they're
16:02	going to describe it to you
16:05	even like i said mainstream is saying
16:07	this it's not even just from you know
16:10	the alternative stuff that we do
16:12	so when you start hearing it like that
16:14	from mainstream then you've got to
16:15	understand that that's
16:17	yeah there's nothing
16:19	yeah you need to buck up and pay
16:20	attention when that stuff happens well
16:22	because yeah wages um so just to kind of
16:26	sum up here
16:28	uh we have the cme following the actual
16:31	kind of some of the radiation that
16:33	already hit
16:34	and they are saying that this actually
16:36	could have some long-term effects as far
16:39	as the way that it's hitting uh the the
16:41	direct hit and the nature that it's
16:43	hitting uh could have effects that of
16:46	course we are already seeing the effects
16:48	in in south america we're seeing that
16:50	there's a radio blackout um we have seen
16:52	in pat in the past in uh i believe in
16:55	2006 and 2015 uh there were there were a
16:58	couple things that actually changed the
17:00	way that they look at things
17:01	and said that you know they thought that
17:03	depending on what side of the earth it
17:05	hit that the other side would be
17:07	protected uh but they actually had you
17:09	know down in africa they had uh you know
17:13	all sorts of uh damage happen when it
17:16	happened from the opposite side so now
17:18	there's a lot of things that are kind of
17:20	still up in the air uh they don't know
17:22	how protected some places will be and
17:25	and you know it very well could damage
17:27	everywhere if we get a big enough one so
17:30	it you know this is
17:32	this will hopefully not be anything
17:35	uh too bad i'm i'm hoping
17:38	yeah and and you know and something else
17:40	that i want to say here that the long
17:42	duration stuff like you said they're
17:44	starting to kind of pivot on how they
17:46	look at these things
17:47	and that's they've they figured out that
17:49	you know most people say well why don't
17:51	they just shut the grid down if this is
17:53	going to hit well it actually that's
17:54	that's worse
17:56	people don't understand why and i can't
17:59	really explain that because that'd be a
18:00	really really long conversation but
18:02	essentially when you get a long duration
18:04	effect you're inducing current
18:05	everywhere for a long period of time
18:08	so if you go shutting the grid down and
18:10	stuff like that you'll start getting
18:11	power surges and everything else and
18:13	what the safety precautions and stuff
18:15	that they tried to take
18:16	are just no longer
18:18	you know feasible they're gone um so you
18:21	know
18:22	we probably will see some like safety
18:24	trip outs and things like that i mean
18:26	that does happen surface charging
18:28	um you know all these all these things
18:30	that we talk about and
18:32	don't forget about the satellites that
18:34	are up there
18:35	okay because when these things hit it
18:37	causes extra drag and these satellites
18:39	will fall out of their orbits they have
18:41	to you know they have to try to steer
18:43	them back into where they're supposed to
18:44	be
18:45	um and that
18:47	becomes very hard especially when you're
18:49	talking about radio blackouts
18:52	so it's kind of you get the cme but then
18:53	you get the radio black house which is
18:55	how they communicate with satellites so
18:57	now what are you doing you can't do
18:58	nothing until you can communicate with
19:00	it again
19:01	um so that's that's that's another thing
19:04	that you know we need to pay attention
19:05	to because that's why this also will
19:07	affect gps it affects
19:09	all of that you know short road radio
19:12	um all those things matter of fact there
19:14	was a competition going on with you know
19:16	ham radio operators just i think it's
19:18	this week like right now
19:19	um it's kind of uh ironic that this is
19:22	going on right now
19:23	so you know
19:25	but as far as all that stuff goes man i
19:27	i think that you know we really need to
19:29	pay attention and watch this one because
19:30	there is some
19:32	there is some stuff that is uh a little
19:34	iffy um whether or not what's going to
19:37	happen and so i would lean towards
19:39	caution
19:40	and the timing and happening at
19:42	halloween uh you know just
19:45	what i mean just
19:47	hypothetically right what if this was
19:50	a real big one and and we ended up
19:52	having our lights go out for actual
19:54	halloween um i want to thank you for
19:56	coming on today i really i really do
19:58	thank you wages and you came on last
20:00	minute uh dex you're on the phone as
20:02	well you if you want to pop in um if if
20:06	again thanks uh for you know coming on

20:33	it's a it's a recovery channel for
20:35	addicts
20:36	um and i've been we're i'm pretty
20:39	involved in it i'm kind of doing the
20:40	decks for that
20:42	i've actually tried to model model it
20:45	off of your guys show so
20:47	um that's kind of what we're doing over
20:49	there but i just wanted to put that out
20:50	there for a second well what we'll do is
20:51	we'll link your we'll link both channels
20:54	again thank you for coming on wages and
20:56	then we'll link your other channel on
20:58	the website as well if you do want to uh
21:00	grab a subscription from wages make sure
21:04	to go over to marfooglenews.com
21:07	dex will actually add both channels
21:08	there if you want to actually support
21:10	that and i highly recommend you go over
21:12	and subscribe he spends a lot of his his
21:15	time uh looking into everything again uh
21:18	that was wages world um and then
21:21	if you do want to end up uh supporting
21:23	him go over to his information go to his
21:25	uh his actual channel and then he has
21:28	all the appropriate things there if you
21:30	do want to actually protect yourself
21:32	from stuff like this in the future we
21:34	are going to have bigger ones and
21:36	that's guaranteed a carrington level
21:38	event will happen there's no debate
21:40	about it
21:41	if you do want to protect your devices
21:43	your car your solar system your rv your
21:46	motorcycles
21:47	or even your you know bug out spot make

21:54	three phases of an emp and you can get a
21:56	huge discount doing so this will not
21:58	only protect you against the natural
22:00	kinds solar flares uh but it will also
22:02	protect you against emp uh again the the
22:04	man-made kind now if you go over there
22:07	you will also see you'll get 50 off per
22:09	device and there is a contest running
22:12	for i believe another five days if you
22:14	want to go check that out as well uh
22:16	they are giving out three more devices
22:18	it is their last contest they're doing
22:20	uh they've given out ten thousand
22:21	dollars worth of gear uh these are not
22:23	cheap but they are also professional and
22:25	they do their job this is the same
22:27	company that has now worked with dod uh
22:30	dhs and the demso team helping protect
22:32	the texas grid
22:33	so uh thank you everybody for showing up
