00:29 and it was all caused by get this a
00:32 software update
00:33 gone horribly wrong down detector.com
00:38 showed a sharp and simultaneous spike in
00:40 an
00:40 outage reports for prominent travel
00:43 retail financial and gaming websites uh
00:46 globally
00:47 not to mention you had of course nine
00:50 one one services down
00:52 so this is again huge huge outage
00:56 uh it says it says even the tokyo
00:59 olympics website
01:01 uh and app were reported to be
01:02 intermittently down
01:04 uh you had parts of the clouds in oracle
01:07 down
01:07 uh this was massive in fact uh we know a
01:10 few people that work in the tech
01:11 industry
01:12 and they said basically all of their
01:13 friends are buzzing because almost every
01:15 company was hit
01:16 now they’re telling us that oh it was 36
01:19 000 i don’t know what the actual number
01:21 is but again they say it’s because of an
01:23 update
01:24 just happens that this is in uh a very
01:27 very
01:28 hot uh tit for tat with russia uh we
01:31 have uh well i shouldn’t say we uh they
01:34 had their russian ministry of defense
01:37 website go down
01:38 right after we had something happen and
01:41 then of course our prez
01:42 said that we would you know strike back
01:44 or whatever and then all of a sudden
01:46 they had that down now we have this
01:48 and they say it’s because of an update
01:49 right so that’s the official
01:51 story there it says akame which operates
01:53 one of the world’s largest
01:55 and most crucial uh content delivery
01:57 networks reported a problem with its
01:59 services at about 12 10 pm many partners
02:03 including britain’s
02:04 national health service specifically
02:07 cited disruption as a cause of the
02:09 outage
02:10 akamai uh tweeted that it had
02:12 implemented a fix and that systems were
02:14 returning to normal so again we know for
02:18 a fact that they have said that there
02:19 have been giant hacks
02:20 that were either ransomware type attacks
02:23 or these kind of things where they pay
02:24 the ransom
02:25 and then it goes away silently in fact
02:28 we knew for a fact
02:30 that officials have said that a lot of
02:32 these companies that are getting hit
02:33 with ransomware right now
02:35 they just pay the ransom and get the key
02:37 back we have another story about that
02:39 in just a second but in addition to
02:41 these websites going down
02:44 of course the emergency services again
02:46 there was a
02:47 nationwide detected in states like
02:50 virginia
02:51 and illinois so first of all
02:55 why are our systems like that connected
02:57 with internet i don’t know this is a
02:59 you know this is something that is
03:00 critical infrastructure
03:02 if you’re talking about emergencies and
03:04 if something happens the people you need
03:06 to call
03:07 fire rescue police that kind of thing i
03:10 don’t understand it i
03:11 you if you understand it let me know and
03:14 then at the same time we have ransomware
03:16 victim cassia
03:18 gets master key to unlock networks now
03:20 if you didn’t follow this story there
03:21 was some big stuff it says
03:23 the florida company whose software was
03:25 exploited in the devastating july
03:28 uh fourth weekend ransomware attack
03:31 cassia has received a universal key that
03:34 will decrypt
03:35 all of the more than 1 000 businesses
03:38 and public organizations that were
03:40 crippled in the global incident
03:42 in the global incident so out of nowhere
03:45 castilla the same company that was
03:47 exploited that uh
03:48 over fourth of july weekend we saw this
03:50 huge huge hack that
03:52 uh ransomware to a thousand businesses
03:54 and essentially they said
03:56 you are going to have to pay 50 or 70
03:58 million dollars
03:59 uh in fact i think it was like we’re uh
04:01 you pay 70 million dollars you can have
04:03 the key to all of the businesses
04:05 and then they were like oh well it’s
04:07 we’re feeling like a sale right now you
04:08 only need 50 million in crypto to
04:11 unlock all these businesses well
04:13 randomly casia says oh we got that key
04:15 that
04:16 that encryption key uh they would not
04:18 say
04:19 how they got it it said casia spokesman
04:22 dana lead helm
04:23 would not say thursday how the key was
04:25 obtained and whether the ransom was paid
04:27 she said that it only came up from a
04:30 quote trusted third
04:31 party and if you are following this you
04:35 might
04:35 you might have a couple guesses of who
04:37 that third party are and casio is
04:39 distributing it to
04:40 all of the victims it says the cyber
04:41 security firm emma soft confirmed that
04:43 the key worked and was providing support
04:47 uh it says ransomware analysts offered
04:49 multiple possible explanations
04:51 why the master key which can unlock the
04:53 scrambled data of all of the attack
04:55 victims has now appeared
04:57 they include cassia paid of course
05:00 a government paid a number of victims
05:03 pulled together to
05:04 to you know pay this 50 million the
05:06 kremlin
05:07 seized the key from the criminals and
05:09 handed it over through immediate
05:11 aries or perhaps the attack’s principal
05:14 protagonist
05:15 didn’t get paid by the gang whose
05:16 ransomware was used
05:19 so we have we have of course emergency
05:21 services going down 36 000 websites look
05:23 at the
05:24 look at the show that we just did a week
05:26 and a half ago i don’t even think it was
05:27 a week and a half ago
05:28 uh the title and the uh the actual
05:31 thumbnail
05:32 internet down and days later
05:35 boom it’s like i said it’s like a bad b
05:38 movie
05:39 where the blonde is running up those
05:40 stairs every single time it is
05:42 predictable
05:44 and you if anybody that follows this
05:45 channel knows we are calling this stuff
05:48 uh days weeks or even months before cv
05:51 we called it because all these weird
05:53 articles and all these weird stories
05:55 came out
05:56 all these weird graphs all these weird
05:58 studies were coming out
05:59 talking about the next thing right
06:02 now they’re talking about this and of

06:06 last thing that’s happened over the last
06:07 two years has been huge
06:09 well they say this is going to be bigger
06:11 everybody that that
06:13 is in military they say that they’re
06:15 practicing and
06:16 and preparing for something massive that
06:18 we don’t even know
06:20 what level this is on at the same time
06:23 countries are preparing for a major
06:26 conflict
06:26 and people can argue that people oh
06:28 nothing’s going to happen

06:36 get our ducks in a in a row everybody
