Ukraine has signed a deal to purchase 200 armored vehicles from Germany. The deal, which is worth around $53 million, includes the purchase of 35 Typhoon armored personnel carriers and 165 smaller Fennek armored vehicles. The deal was signed at the Ukraine-Germany Business Forum in Berlin and will be funded through the German government’s development bank, KfW. The armored vehicles will be used to support Ukraine’s military efforts against Russian-backed separatists in the eastern part of the country. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.

Bessie Hendricks, who was recognized as the oldest living person in America, has passed away at the age of 115.
