kind of plan here uh also Dex um We're Not Gonna I I would say I'm not gonna open up the phones until after so if you want to pop in too uh we can of course just all kind of you know make it a casual conversation we don't have any solid things a couple things that I I did talk about off air was a lot of folks do not have a basic plan like any kind of basic plan and one thing that you said that was interesting is is how to have like a media plan and how to decide you know where you're going to meet have a backup spot uh one of the things I think is interesting is a lot of Preppers and a lot of people in our community essentially they have all sorts of tons and tons of food well if your plan is not to bug in then are you realistically planning on taking all that food with you somewhere you're not going to be able to take a backpack with you know a full room of of canned food it's just not going to be possible so

what what are some things that we can talk about as far as like having a basic plan with family and friends if you're not a prepper you don't know anything about it yeah so of course the main thing everybody wants to do is uh stay at home unfortunately with shtf events there's too many of them just to say one scenarios can play out all right we'll try to prepare for as many different things as possible when it comes to having all your food and if you are going to move or if you have loved ones at different locations uh basically what all what we do here like my wife works in town all right we don't work in the same place uh she knows different routes that she has to take home all right in case of emergency we have many multiple different routes to get home on but now let's say the threat is in our area here at the house or where I'm at we have to have different locations of Meetup spots

and this is something that people need to work on you mentioned about you know your cans of food and stuff like that you're obviously not gonna put it all in one backpack and walk off with it if you get a large Supply uh we always try to push on the channel having multiple locations all right A Bug out location does not just mean you have a spot out the woods a cabin out in the woods or you're going to go live out in the woods a Bug out location can be somebody's house a relative close friend that's on the other side of the city or on the in the different state some way that you have a different location to go to that is safe and secure from the immediate threat that you have at your home or current situation so we always push on having food and equipment in different locations um same thing like I do a lot of Bug Out locations uh I basically live without the woods most of the time anyway we have all that positions they are loaded down with supplies we have these things mapped out we have

these things that we actually go to and train at these are locations that you are always going to you got to look at every route secondary routes third routes in case these things are blocked or just some type of Devastation in the way you always have a way of moving around when it comes to family and friends trying to get them on board it is one of the most difficult things to do in today's society however there's a lot more people open to the possibility of a major event threat and it doesn't just have to be conflict as far as a global scale it can be natural disaster down here in Florida we deal with hurricane season every year and this particular area I'm at with devastated by Hurricane Michael that actually opened up the door a lot to people being open-minded to prep it for natural disasters alone and quite honestly that's what we usually see natural disasters either house fires localized events these are usually what we try to prepare

for but prepping to try to cover as many aspects as possible conflict unrest all these things famine shortages is what we always try to prepare for so we try to disperse everything as much as possible at least we do Spirit in our group in our house the reason Vivian is if we lose our strong point right see where we're at we lose everything so I value my life I value the lives of my family having a plan to evacuate if necessary is definitely key in survival I don't want to leave my home of course not no one does but our value leaving the home to protect my family over staying there in Washington now as far as a few people said you know to bug in or to bug out you may think oh we will be bugging in but situations might actually change things might actually change drastically uh there

have like really good setups last time I asked like hey what do you guys actually need they all sent me back pictures they're like look at this boom boom boom boom household or pantries full of stuff and that's because it's it's been over the last five years just uh constantly going over like kind of all of the crazy things that are headed our way they have built up over time you don't have to go out and get a fifty thousand dollar loan and buy pallets of food there's ways to do this at a little bit at a time and especially if you're on a budget a lot of people use that as an excuse um Joseph if if folks are on a budget they can still uh prepare just the same they just need to literally take a few dollars a week and get out there and try to do it right yes yes I always recommend everybody build a rotational stalk of food first um when you're prepping these you know

we all love long-term food storage I mean I've got a bunch of it myself but when it comes to budgeting you're trying to put food back in your family every week when you go to the grocery store even one can of food candines green beans dry goods Rice dried beans even just one of those a week and you put it back a rotational stock next week you go back again by the same thing buy something a little different so you change up your meal plans it adds a quick now there are ways of building this up you know much faster course by cutting costs in your own your own living situation we've done videos on that substituting things we don't go out to the movies like maybe once a year I mean yeah I'm not the best husband but uh we we sacrifice a lot to make sure and my wife's over there in the background giggling too uh we sacrifice a lot to make sure that we have what we need when we need it both my wife and I we have been through hard times in life we've had job loss right when I was

injured we weren't making hardly anything as far as income coming in we actually live off of our preps for a whole year while I was going through surgeries physical therapy what income we did have coming in I was paying our rent electrical bill we didn't have money for the groceries that was our supplies we had to live off that stuff and that stuff actually happens more often than people realize job loss or injuries like let's take your hand for an example that happens quick unexpected car wreck these things do happen and these are shdf moments they're localized but they do affect everyone's life so even going to the store and just buying five dollars worth of canned goods still puts food back for your family gives you enough of a buffer zone to make your decision on where you are going if you're going to be sitting there and we talk about bugging out or bugging in sometimes you cannot plug in with the threats that we're seeing across the country right now

my myself and all of the people in our audience we have tons of military members and they're saying the exact opposite they're saying there is really things going on but they're spinning it with propaganda and they're actually utilizing it they're not letting a good disaster go to waste they're actually taking these disasters these wars these conflicts they're not only making tons of money off of them but they are also able to change laws they're able to uh protect us you know put you know put things into place for our safety and they're able to distract us from all of these changes that are happening there's changes right now happening with how they're going to identify us have digital IDs on our uh our Health Care system and things like this so what would you say as far as everything that's going on wouldn't you say that there's a ton of different paths that this could go badly and we can't just sit here and be pessimist about it I think that um wouldn't you agree that if you prep and you get ready for these things you

start being an optimist about an optimist about you know it actually happening and if it does happen you're not afraid you're actually ready to take on the world yeah more more or less on Take On The World um so with with this you know I see it all the time on my channel I know you know your channel and a lot of other prepping channels have to deal with this you know because we cover topics is fear-mongering or because we're preparing for something means that we are terrified of something no we see the threats all right we look at what's going on you know I've been running my channel for four years and you know I'll get the comments well nothing's happened yet there's actually been a lot of things happening yet they've been shut down there's been shortages there's been blockades there's been sanctions there's been a lot of stuff goes on inflation all this stuff does go on for the person that's living paycheck to paycheck when they get that grocery bill inflation rate on their grocery bill that hurts them okay and it's only going

to increase now when it comes to watching everything that's going on yeah I mean we're seeing a massive buildup it's a slow build up but we're still seeing a massive and it's just really increasing a lot more especially with the mainstream and stuff like that we're seeing more and more of that like you touched on a lot of people don't want to listen to because they've heard so many different things from them and nothing ever came into place now this is why you know we listen to your channel here but there's a lot of proper channels that we listen to news and information Alternatives and information because we want to know what's going on that's not being talked about it's not being fearful we get the information as a proper you get that information you analyze it you go okay what is the possibilities well if there is a possibility that's something you prepare for is it something that's survivable okay how do I how do I effectively prepare for this fortunately for us most scenarios out there our preps go hand in hand with hurricane disaster works with two shortages it all

works together now some of the radiological things yeah you need specialized equipment but even at that Dugout location you know get out of Dodge bags uh Food Supplies they'll hold you over while you're waiting for the half-life of radiation through decay this stuff it all comes into place well always looking everything and as far as being careful we're not we have supplies for a reason when things pop up we already have our plans in place we've already been training and drilling on these scenarios so we just utilize what we have these plans make it so we do sleep better at night because our eyes are open to what's really going on in the world and it's not what's being pushed by the mainstream and as far as even if people talk about nuclear destruction or anything like it uh folks really react to that and I think that it does go back to kind of

the whole the the thing that we're afraid of we're all afraid of dying it's it's baked into our brains we have a fight or flight kind of response to things and I think that the fear actually turns to anger to whoever makes you afraid if you can think about it it's kind of common sense if somebody uh if somebody startles you what is your first reaction after you're scared if somebody pops out of a garbage can like the millions of videos that have done that person gets scared and then they get angry and they punch the guy jumping out of the garbage uh garbage can I think that people have that reaction they just don't even realize it as far as nuclear disaster whether you think it's manufactured whether you believe it even exists whether you believe it's happening tomorrow this is something that very well could happen to further an agenda it could be any one of the parties that we've talked about any one of the countries that is threatening this this is less on my scale of like the one to ten of crazy things that could happen I believe that there very

well will probably be some sort of tactical nuke that in our lifetimes we will see some sort of nuclear explosion go off I don't think that they would do a full-on exchange I more so think that it since they just stabilize things like cl20 I believe it's called uh it's a massive explosive that's essentially one of the most explosive properties ever and the only reason they didn't use it before is if they even transported it on a truck you hit one Little Rock and the whole truck would you know take out a city block right uh stabilizing something like that because it doesn't have an after effect and if they blew up a whole uh you know a whole city with that stuff then afterwards it's not radiated right but I do believe that they there could be a tactical event as far as like a end of the world scenario I don't think we're at the end of the world I think we are at the start of a new one I think that this is all to bring in something greater and it goes you know I know that you don't really talk about the the political scenarios and the geopol politics a lot unless it

kind of crosses over into your space but what would you say that through prepping you kind of do open your eyes to a lot of the scenarios and then when you realize that all of these scenarios are kind of happening at once wouldn't you say that it's it's probably one of the smartest things to do right now is to try to have some sort of prep right oh yeah absolutely will what agendas that we were seeing get pushed if you actually just dial back to some of the major events in the last 20 years well we went to conflict with other countries over stuff that turns out was non-existent but we had to get out there you know you can go down the the rabbit hole won a lot of things and I do encourage people to do just that because what we get information Wise from governments and uh media never never accurate average we can just look at the track records of it and it's always manipulated for their own narrative and their own agendas on this

the ramp up that we're seeing is you know just with tactical Nuclear uh Exchange it's become a normalized and that's what has us concerned on that aspect as well the normalization of as if oh yeah we can expect this now when we start seeing normalization like that they're if you look at everything else that's been normalized in our country it makes you look at and go okay this is a real possibility as far as a full-blown uh nuclear exchange I'm not expecting that it doesn't mean it won't happen but I'm not actually expecting it we try to prepare for as much as possible but a full-blown one you better be down pretty deep with a lot of supplies for a couple Generations all right something like that but now for tactical they're gonna be his they're going to hit strategic targets it's not going to be everybody there's still going to be a lot of people that share left on this Earth and I believe it's just going to be a way to get in there you know we just had the uh the power plants there and you uh

that's that's the Big Talk of the Town and it's all coming from ukr I I feel like people in a few months will look back and say it just like all of the previous things over the last year there's been so much talk from the ukr intelligence of this event at that event uh that's why that that's what's actually put the most doubt in me about this whole situation but what was crazy to me is that Senate uh Senator Graham and Blumenthal which a lot of us go those guys are just Shady car salesmen right these guys get up on this uh pedestal they do their press conference they say oh well there's bipartisan support and there were many names on that list I don't think people realize it they might have been the Front Runners maybe they just don't have enough shame because they knew people were going to give them crap but they got out there but the names that were actually supporting that resolution the Congress people that are supporting an immediate invocation of Article 5 which is World War III if zapharasia gets

being pushed at and to sit there and go well I might do this next week or a month from now you know I don't every every week we try to add more supplies you know we got a two year supply of normal rotational Goods that's dry goods and canned goods water filtration no that's the cheapest way of getting into prepping and it builds up really quickly you know we talk about a massive conflict it's not just radiological you know a lot of people don't believe in the equipment being used you know nukes ain't real and stuff like that that's fine you can believe whatever they want to I'm not going to argue with them but what I'm going to say is during a major conflict like this there goes your supplies being shipped to America especially with the people that's on the board of this we get a lot of stuff brought in we do not manufacture a lot of stuff here a lot of this stuff that we do make is shipped out we import a lot of food a lot of medical supplies and a lot of our Electronics I mean

we import a lot so when this stuff happens you think the enemy is going to ship us stuff no it's not you know it's going to come down to what you have is what you have and that goes into learn how to grow gardens and stuff like that it's it's nice having seats but if you're not out there practicing on growing a garden your failure rate is going to be very high you're not going to have such a great yield out of your crops if you've never done it before but just because you have seeds doesn't mean you're going to be successful at it everything from weather to pests plays and effect so yeah having supplies is definitely a uh a comfort but when it comes to that you need to make sure you don't have it all in one spot like ourselves we keep a three-month Supply indoors I don't mind telling people that because you know I'm a YouTuber we don't just keep everything here we move stuff around we train on going to

locations we have things at the ground we have things in other group members homes these are people that we train with they're like brothers they're like family we we know these people they know us that's one of the biggest thing is trust with people when it comes to crafting community a lot of people wanted to break out and say well I'm just going to Lone Wolf it well I will tell you this you have to sleep at some point in time but if you have a medical emergency you need an additional person you need somebody else some things you can fix yourself a lot of things you can't and another thing is if there's no medical around what are you gonna do all right like you know you injured your hand uh with a knife and I'll split my hand open with an ax and that was during a film shoot and I reached behind me just to move it out of my way and caught them late that quick that fast and that was the situation now luckily for me I do have training on a lot of things and I can actually take care of a lot of it

myself but what happens when medical facilities are around they just have too many people having skill sets being trained in things is very important having even basic medical equipment like uh you know is enough my little first kids actual trauma kits that you can build or purchase yourself I do recommend building your own but when it comes to that learning how to use that equipment you know how just because you got it do you know how to use it and a lot of people purchase things without really testing it out or taking the appropriate training for it well so so you mentioned and Dex I think I saw you you had a something to say here too but I did want to say that uh so if you weren't here for yesterday's show I was uh I was cutting uh the top of a um uh kitty litter I still have it here I was cutting the top of this to make a

survival living you had mentioned the fact of spreading out your your preps or spreading some of your supplies out um and I'm sure the answer to my question is probably an entire video so I don't need the long version of it but um for people that don't know like what when it comes to burying and you had mentioned burying bearing say food or bearing say supplies a couple questions couple parts this question one how deep do you need to go to protect against radiation and two can you take like those food buckets when you buy you know already prepared food that comes in a bucket can you just dig a hole in the ground and throw it in there and put dirt on top of it or should you do something else to protect that and how deep do you go okay um not a problem on those questions at all so how deep you go uh with food book that's going into the ground I always tell people go six to eight inches below your Frost level so you want to take a look at your Frost level of your area the reason being is because once you're below that cross level and that's to the top of the bucket six to

eight inches below the cross level I have a frost level of six to eight inches here in Florida um that's below our Frost level so we're about to put down in our location that is to keep a constant temperature now the food that you stock up is actually going to be fine with radiation Fallout okay radiation Fallout is not going to affect anything that is sealed ooh that is mylarred up or canned goods can be washed off and used all right the radiation is not going to harm the food that's in there is when you ingest the radiation that's when it actually causes problems with your engine so internally now we're not talking about a nuclear blast radius now that has a different form of radiation that is bombarded through the material and that there you cannot you cannot be having stuff like that not just regular Fallout you're fine so on the level of the dirt you're not worried about that at all you're fine with that is different than a human body that's dealing with a Fallout

radiation buffer because we're having internal organs that's going to be affected by that radiation compared to drug goods and canned goods so those can just be washed off if they ever got radioactive dust on them as far as the you know buy buckets of food and stuff like that from the store my recommendation is to make sure you seal them up um because most of the time the lids are not really water types so when you put things in the ground there will be moisture and condensation buildup in these things my recommendation to get you some of those um moisture packets put them in those and those buckets seal them up tape it up and drop it in or if you want to go to the more extreme get those gamma lids and the five gallon buckets those have rubber O-rings that lock them down in place you know and put those in the ground so as far as radiation Fallout on food that can be washed off you don't have to worry about any radioactive material like irradiating those beans or

anything like that or canned goods because it's a different form of radiation it's not like a blast radius that irradiates everything so you'll be fine so if I have a five gallon bucket and I take all the mylar stuff that came from say my uh my Patriot Supply bucket which is not necessarily a five gallon it's like a square bucket I pop that open I put it in my my five gallon bucket and I use a gamma seal lid on it I could take that literally and put it right in the ground as is and that gamma seal lid is good enough what I recommend doing is putting a trash bag over it just to keep the mud and everything because the dirt will set down it will settle on it uh just to keep the mechanics of that lid from season up on you when you're trying to open it up so I always put everything in a plastic bag first garbage bag tie it off stick it in the ground if there's air in it that's fine because when the ground settles and I've pulled a lot of buckets out of the ground on videos on it it will be smushed flat against the bucket there'll be no air in it at all it just once everything settles around

soaking a rag and placing around your neck or your product to cool down that blood that is a huge thing right your your back your neck your feet they regulate your sheet a lot so keeping these things cool you can also be aware that the major arteries and stuff come close to the skin keeping that cool over the pool rag does help reduce a lot of the heat transfer um I use that Outdoors all the time especially in the survival training uh courses that we run is getting out of the sun because some locations we're at there is nothing overhead everything might be shoulder height and that's it so you have to get out of that sun but staying indoors during a summer heat and you have no way of pushing air through that's a hot box all right you are just sweltering in there and that's not a good place to be at I do recommend having an alternative power even if it's just a gasoline generator solar generators or solar grid if you

yeah you can collect rain water but also got a lot of pollutants in there as well um I don't recommend drinking straight rain water anymore not today's society there's just way too much air contaminants in it uh you can make a charcoal filter to help filter out debris but when it comes to even raining water I recommend boiling nuts uh some of the water though waterways and things of that nature you have to be careful what's your boiling you have to take a look at the water if you think there's any excuse me any threat of excuse me any threat of chemical pesticides uh heavy metal contaminants in that area boiling that water is not safe those products are still going to be in that water well and what bowling is to get rid of bacteria all right so there's not really a natural way of easily done I mean I've seen people use Limestone before as a natural buffer I

know Limestone does work to buff out acid rains but you're talking about several cubic feet of it that has slowly drips through kind of like a ceramic filter um so naturally I'd say bowl water but you need to take a look at the area itself now there's a lot of misleading information on YouTube about boiling water all you need is one to two minutes of a rolling boil all right so once you've got your pot on the fire and you start seeing it actually boiling not not bubbling actually rolling boil one or two minutes will kill off any type of bacteria because the temperature in that could cause that to happen will kill any type of bacteria in that water a lot of people use it like five minutes ten minutes before you just waste a few because it's already at that temperature anything higher is just going to go to steam so the physics of it you're already in that range once it does a rolling Bowl anything's dead after one to two minutes now a couple questions here regarding

because we do do high latency so we can interact with chat meaning the show is close to real time they only have a two hour window in the DVR in YouTube's DVR so it's the last two hours of the show that will be visible until the whole video processes the longer the video the longer it takes to process so if we did an eight hour show it would do the last it would only do the last two hours and it would literally start six hours in so it's kind of a stupid thing that's why we limited it two hours we used to go three four five hours but that was before we did the DVR feature so people could actually you know interact and all of that um I would say um there's a lot here so gosh it would I wish it was easier to do part ones and parts twos but people just don't end up uh they just don't end up finding the part twos or they get confused they watch one or the other this was a great uh talk with you Joseph I know you got to get out of here

I I wish we could honestly do the like a part one part two we need to figure out how we can do like a uh a super long format maybe can we turn the DVR off I think we can right it's been a long time since then nobody can join the show and see and Rewind they can't start from the beginning they have to start right where we are when we're live well if I I wonder if we when we do calls uh call-ins like that if it will really matter if if they want to see the beginning of the show maybe they can um I don't know and then the show won't be visible at all until it's completely processed are you sure how would they know that we're on that's how the DVR works it allows you to have a yeah we could talk about it off here but yeah I would think that it's a it's a it's a disadvantage to not have the DPR they need to I wish people should people should complain and say that it should be like four or five hours I mean there's a lot of shows there's a
